The Past, Present, and Future

A brief timeline of how and when we became Vortex Metal Manufacturing:

1979 - Started as EMC Mechanical Services

Created an in-house duct manufacturing facility to produce rectangular duct work.

1989 - Began to market, produce, and sell to other contractors in the VA area

By providing a consistent and quality product internally, we began to manufacture for external customers using our combined experience, technique, and advanced machinery.

2012 - Expanded services and offerings

With the purchase of a spiral duct machine, we started to produce spiral duct in addition to rectangular products.

2017 - Launched Vortex Spiral Products

After years of producing spiral duct, we expanded our offerings to include additional round metal options, fittings, and accessories.

2023 - Re-branded to Vortex Metal Manufacturing

Our complete beginning to end process via estimation, fabrication, project management, and logistics granted us the ability to become the premier duct manufacturer in Virginia!
